| Each of you draws
two concentric circles, the outer circle almost touching the
outer edges of the page. Divide the outer circle into five pie
segments, without penetrating the inner, like this: |
 |
Sit,
eyes closed. Imagine yourself centered. As Center, you’re the
conductor of your symphony of voices. A ball of warm, white light
moves up (to your crown) on inhale, down (to your pelvis) on exhale.
Gradually, let the ball of light decrease its range of movement--rise
less on inhale and fall less on exhale. After a few minutes, let the
ball of light center itself between your eyebrows and the back of your
head.
When
you’re centered, imagine you sit before a closed door. On the door,
see a sign that says, "Selves Concerned With Love and Sex."
See
Your Sexy Self
See
the door open. Out slinks your sexiest voice. It whispers its name.
Your sexy voice tells you what it’s like–how it contributes to
your inner ecology. Let it describe its job, what it does for you.
Pretend
you’re it. As it, your sexiest, feel your existence. What do you
want? Why you want it (say your underlying motives. Underlying motives
always promote your overall well-being).
As
Sexiest voice, what would you would you do if you dominated her or him
or her all the time? Say your motto, Sexy Voice.
Disidentify,
separate from, differentiate from your Sexy subself. Again become the
whole you, your Center.
From
your Center, imagine your sexy voice walks from the door and onto one
of the blank segments of the pie you’ve drawn. Draw this voice and
note what it wants, what it needs, and its motto.
Appreciate
Your Protector
Center
yourself again and, once more, sit before the door labeled
"Selves Concerned with Love and Sex."
The
door opens again. This time, out walks a protective subself, a voice
that concerns itself with keeping your sexy voice from getting you
hurt. Let this inner protector announce its name and say what it’s
like–how it functions in your inner ecology and what it does.
Pretend
you’re Protector. Feel your existence, what you want and want to
prevent. Why do you want that? As Protector, if you dominated your
person totally, how would she or he behave? What’s your motto,
Protector?
Separate
from Protector. Center yourself again. From your Center, imagine your
protective voice walks from the door and onto another of the blank
segments of the pie you’ve drawn. Draw this voice. Note what it
wants and needs; write its motto.
Center
yourself before the door labeled "Selves Concerned with Love and
Sex."
