THE TRIBE MEETS TWICE A YEAR - JANUARY AND JULY
Maui, Hawaii
Join us in paradise
as we roleplay life together in a many-lover community at a
secluded lodge in the Jungle. Join us as we combine the
best of polyamory and tantra. In this love-lodge, we enact
kind, authentic communication, pair-bonding, triangulating,
multiple-partner sexuality. We choreograph the dance of poly
loving.
In addition to roleplaying, we participate in discussions and
playshops on community building and maintenance, jealousy
management, compersion, coming out, bisexuality, poly rights and
polyamous childrearing challenges.
Here's your chance to network at a very deep level with
potential partners and to develop skills that facilitate
polyamorous and other relationships. We make sure we party,
play, exchange massages, practice tantra and attend daily yoga
classes, trip to the nude beach too.
Sunday, by 4PM, all
gather in the main meeting room. We do meaningful mixer exercises
to get to know each other, then, around 6:00, eat a potluck
dinner. After dinner, we begin our roleplaying exercises.
Monday, Poly Tribe
begins, for early risers, with Sasha Lessin's yoga and meditation
class. Each morning, after yoga and breakfast, we talk with about
what we're learn about poly loving.
Next, Sasha and Kira
lead Choreographing Your Inner Voices in Polyamorous Life, a
powerful exploration of the subselves within us that influence how
we do poly. We learn how our inner voices interact with those of
our poly partners, sour, and can be re-sweetened by sharing our
vulnerabilities. We embrace within us our own underdeveloped
subselves which our partners exhibit in soured communication.
Monday evening, like
most evenings after dinner at the Poly Tribe we play,
dance, celebrate, and connect.
On another day at
Poly Tribe, we free ourselves by reprogramming scripts from
parents and society.
On still other days, we experiment with roleplays and fantasty
dramas of polyamous living and compassionate, effective
communication, multiperson tantra, sharing resources and tasks.
We move from experience to experience together, in plenary
sessions orchestrated to build community.
After a week of immersing ourselves in the process, with love,
warm fuzzies and fun, we experience the possibilities of a
poly-friendly tribe that works
