Chakra 1 (perineum) Secure your first base, share vulnerability selectively

Chakra 2 (genitals) Embrace erotic freedom & cultivate caution

Chakra 3 (diaphragm) Take what's rightfully yours; alternately lead or follow

Chakra 4 (heart) Live loving oneness, personal and impersonal; give and take

Chakra 5 (throat) Speak or stay silent; sing

Chakra 6 (vision, brain) Think, dream, intuit, envision

Chakra 7 (cortex) Crown thy good with siblinghood

Chakra 8 (aura, level 1) Laugh from your Clown Chakra

Open all your energy centers (chakras) to each other. From your Center–your perspectives as whole people--you and they hear your diverse inner-voices. You and your lovers see your disowned energies in each other’s attitudes, behaviors and subpersonalities. You learn what hurts and scares your Inner Children. You fathom how subselves like your Pleaser, Hero, Spacer, Comic or Rebel protect your Inner Children from emotional pain. Open all your chakras and you and your lovers know when and how to let your Inner Kids connect. Then you and they synergize your inner security, sexuality, power, love, communication, vision, and spiritual chakras. You and they then have more positive energy together than the sum of both your separate energies.

You and your lovers create dyadic or multiperson beings, weave your needs together and create tapestries of love and mutual support and encouragement. You and they join the consciousness ocean and merge with all humanity and the cosmos.

Think of chakras as centers of the categories or dimensions of your existence. The Chakra dimensions--vulnerability, sex, power, love, communication, vision and ecstatic transcendence–resemble stages on which subselves express themselves.

Imagine a vulnerable child and its protectors live at your first chakra, at your perineum, between your genitals and anus.

Sexual celebrants and their guardians dwell in your genital chakra.

You house your assertive and compromising, your leader and follower subselves in your diaphragm chakra.

Your love-giver and love-receiver reside in your heart.

Your brain chakra houses your intellectual, psychic and visionary subselves.

Your crown chakra gives you your spirit-gates, where the energy from the first six chakras meets the spiritual dimensions of existence.

Center yourself successively in each chakra’s energy. See each chakra as a stage and the subpersonalities as its actors. On each chakra-playhouse, "actors" portray your parts as you learn to hear, feel, accept, reprogram, coordinate and facilitate them; you, centered, direct them.

Appreciate subselves on your First Chakra Playhouse. Onstage, see and hear First Chakra actors. They personify your subselves who care about how much emotion to feel or show. Some First Chakra subs protect your Inner Children from pain and humiliation; they guard your feelings. Other First Chakra subpersonalities, like avatars, express your tender emotional aspects. Some First Chakra subs, inner voices such as your Magic and Playful Children quicken your creative juices.

Identify in turn as the Directors on the other seven stages–the Sex, Power, Love, Communication, Vision and Spirituality Playhouses. At each playhouse, hear inputs and rescript them where they need your direction.

The voices in each chakra-dimension/stage, as well as the collective voice of each chakra’s center (Chakra Playhouse Director), express diverse and sometimes competing perspectives.

Your job as Overall Center for all your chakras: recognize, accept and coordinate all chakras and all the subselves that act at every chakra. Simultaneously hold each your chakra’s and subselves’ energies. Consult your neutral Witness. Discriminate alternatives. Choose your reactions to other people and to life's challenges."
