  • Monthly tuition and utilities contributions are due on the first of each month by 12 noon in advance of occupancy.  Late fees, penalties and interest apply for late payments and overdrafts of checks.

  • You work weekly hours based on your selection

  • Work hours are available mornings, Monday through Sunday, 7 days a week. 

  • We're need 6 months commitments

  • All use group kitchen.  Some areas may have fridges or wet bars.  Only the group kitchen has a stove and cooking facilities.

TUITION INCLUDES THESE BENEFITS:

  • Free YOGA followed by meditation (currently held Wednesdays, 9AM/

  • Free CONSCIOUS COMMUNICATIONS classes Mondays, 7PM

  • Saturday GARDENING CLASSES between 8AM to 1PM (counts as part of your work assignment),

  • Free 1 hour COUNSELING session with one of our counselors (value $150/hour)

  • All you can personally eat from the yard and garden.  Harvesting must be done under supervision until you learn  about tropical agriculture and the proper time to harvest fruits and vegetables.

  • Paid classes available to Supervisors for 50% off

  • Supervisors may work additional hours in advance of paid classes to earn their tuition at a rate of $10.00 per hour.

FULL TIME MEMBERS: If you wish to be considered for Synergy Community & Temple of Tantra Membership, please complete the following:

PERMANENT MEMBERS

  • One Year Anniversary: After a year of probation the community takes a consensus vote on your permanent membership status in the community.

  • If yes, you’re approved and become a full-time, permanent community member.

  • If no, you’re still on probation. Community members tell you their concerns about you, give you suggestions, and extend your probation another month for you to do with a peer counseling.  You may have your probation extended a maximum of three months after the anniversary vote. After three months, if the community does not unanimously approve your permanent co-residency, you live elsewhere but may be invited to continue as an off-campus community member.

  • Priority for accommodations is given to Permanent Members. 

  • Monetary Contributions: Full-Time and Permanent Synergy Community Members make their monetary donations by 12 noon on the first of each month.

 NON-RESIDENTIAL MEMBERS:

  • Non-Residential Members are those who support Synergy Community Farms and the Temple of Tantra by contributing time, energy, money, supplies and resources to our community and special projects. Some Members used to live with us. Some volunteer to work with us in our gardens and like hanging out with us and contributing by gardening, cooking, cleaning, doing repairs, painting, maintenance or otherwise contribute materials, knowledge, wisdom and other resources necessary to help support our vision of sustainable community.  We appreciate the love and generosity that comes from our Non-Residential Members who spread the word about our community and good works done here by many people and assist networking and putting together those who can assist one another, love and support each other for the highest good for all.
