The
World Polyamory Association's Northern California
Conference, Perfecting the Polyamory Paradigm, will be at
Harbin Hot Springs, CA (June 17-19, 2005) in
Middleton, located about two hours from both San
Francisco and Sacramento. Harbin's located on
1200 acres of beautiful canyon land. It offers natural
healing waters (hot, warm and cold pools), miles of
hiking trails, and a variety of workshops, classes and
events every week. Harbin is a clothes-optional
facility.
The
Harbin poly conference
includes interactive workshops on pair bonding,
romantic love, multiple-partner sexuality and
choreographing the dance of poly loving. There will be
panel discussions, jealousy management experiments,
opportunities for networking, a fun party and a many
opportunities to experience living compersion–empathy for
others' love-joy. Participants will move from
experience to experience together, in plenary sessions
orchestrated to build community.
Presenters include Kelly Bryson, Shama Malin, Donald Michael Kraig,
Dave Doleshal, Sasha and Janet Kira Lessin, Harold Kornylak, Amber
Seitz, Cougar Brenneman, Tana Gallante, Scott Catamas, Master Rex, Dawn
Davidson,
Akien MacLain, Scott Longewell, Scott Catamas, Terry & Paul Brussel-Gibbons
& Marcus
Brussel-Jenkins, Ed Jor-El Elkin, Cathy & Barry Smiler and
more. If you'd like to present too, email us; we're open to more. We'd
especially like a presentation on the interface between paganism and
polyamory.
The
theme of this conference is Perfecting the Polyamory Paradigm. Here
we gather to celebrate diversity, creativity, freedom of
expression and relationship choice. We honor each person's
right to chose love, follow their hearts and be who they truly
are and not try to be what society dictates.
Polyamorous
folks are quite diverse in how we express our
love. We have a wide variety of relationship
expressions: polyfidelity, polyandry, polygamy, open
marriage, open marriage, vee relationships, group
marriage, extended family, tribes, triads, foursomes,
moresomes, intimate networks, community, poly-tantra,
poly-swing, poly-pagan and on and on.
All
are honored as we gather as one to celebrate the
individual and their need to group as they chose.
We
explore our choices at the 2005
Northwest Regional Polyamory Conference, Celebrate
Relationship Choice. Join us in Harbin Hot Springs on June
17-19, 2005 as we create new paradigms for relationship choice to re-shape
and heal the world.
We continue at the Art of
Loving Conference, September 30, October 1 & 2, 2005 in
Chicago as we add additional forms of loving,
relationships, spirituality, expansion and connection by
diversifying our types of presentations and broadening
our horizons to include more love.
