PENN & TELLER'S BULLSHIT SHOW: YOGA, TANTRIC SEX, ETC.

     Spring of 2004 Janet Kira Lessin and Sasha Lessin appeared on Bullshit talking about tantra.  They did manage to get a few plugs in about polyamory.  The show aired repeatedly through the spring and summer of 2004 and is available on Penn & Teller's Bullshit 2nd season series DVD.

     "This was our seventh television show on tantra and/or polyamory.  Of all the shows we've done, this was the first show where we were allowed to speak uninterrupted for about 3-5 minutes.  Sasha took center stage and in my opinion got his message across quite eloquently.  However, I admit, I may be quite biased as I'm in love with the man.  All in all, I think we did very well.  

     When we do these shows, many people get the message despite the attempts of the show hosts to ridicule us and the poly and/or tantra movement.  We've gotten a tremendous amount of positive feedback over the years from all the shows we've done. People understand the concepts despite the producer's desires to cloud them.  People are waking up and realize they have options how to live their lives. There's been a tremendous shift in awareness.  We get thousands of phone calls, emails and feedback from clients from around the globe who attend our workshops or do private therapy/counseling and coaching with us. We've heard from many who've been so thankful that we're out there, that we exist and that we are poly, just like them.  

    Yes, we do get some flak.  But I'm proud to do my part and I'll keep on doing it if I only reach one person each time.  For the healing that occurs for that one person is more than enough motivation for me to keep on getting up in front of those cameras and facing the odds.  Those odds, which seem overwhelmingly against us on one level, are just what's needed to crack the cosmic egg for humanity's soul and begin personal transformation and evolution necessary for the healing of individuals and thus, one person at a time, the healing of the entire Earth.  Polyamory's what's necessary to create Partnership Societies and balance yin and yang (male/female) which will eliminate war forever."
